How to Link Property / Building in K-SMART?

Step-by-step guide to link your property in the K-SMART portal

To pay property tax and access other online services through the K-SMART portal, follow these simple steps to link your house or establishment with your citizen profile.

  1. Citizen Login:
    Log in to ksmart.lsgkerala.gov.in or the K-SMART mobile app using your mobile number and OTP.
  2. Select Property Tax / Revenue:
    From the dashboard services, select the 'Property Tax / Revenue' or 'Building' section.
  3. Choose 'Link Property':
    Click on the 'Link Existing Property' or 'Add Building / Assessment' option.
  4. Enter Building Details:
    Select your Local Self Government Institution (Grama Panchayat / Municipality) and enter your building's old or current Assessment Number.
  5. Verify and Link:
    Review the owner's name and building details displayed on the screen, then click the 'Link Property' / 'Submit' button.
💡 Note:

Once linked and verified by officials, you can easily pay your property taxes directly through your login or mobile app.
